Didn't expect to see a Grass Snake two weeks before Christmas! My friend Hugh Wright sent a wonderful video of this big Snake he had found on his patch near Etton, Cambridgeshire, I'd just got in my car to go Waxwing hunting so a quick change of plans and I was face to face with this beautiful creature.
