Rough-legged Buzzard

Seen most days but very hard to get close to!

Male Brambling

A good sized flock was present at the feeding station at Kaamanen in Finland on the our last day (13th) which included a good proportion of the stunning summer plumaged males.

Grosbeaks

Took a lot of photos of these beauties but due to the difficult conditions (rain, darkness, etc) I only really got a couple of decent shots. Be good to go back in the winter.

Red Squirrel

Cute as ever. Slightly greyer than our own Red Squirrels.

Minx

Temminck's Stints were common in the right habitat and their clock work displays were brilliant to watch but hard to photograph! Tiny birds!

White-tailed Eagle

Good numbers blogged around the Varanger coast.

Totally Steller

The only Steller's Eider we could find during the trip.

Rough stuff

This male Ruff loved the mound it was on in a bog, in Finland- especially when the female occasionally visited!

Guillemots

Puffin

A different shot to the normal static and flying at you with a fish shots...

Red-throated Pipit

Ice Loons

Red-necked Phalaropes

Last few from Varanger.
